Pre-Order Executive
Location: JublieeHills
Salary: Upto 35K
Qualification: Graduation
Experience: 2-4 Years
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure lighting products meet technical, performance and design standards.
Collaborate with the design team on custom and complex product specifications.
Analyse BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and determine accurate cost structures.
Prepare quotations based on product specifications, lead times and discounts.
Include shipping and installation costs in pre-order pricing.
Check inventory levels and forecast product availability for upcoming orders.
Coordinate with Supply Chain to confirm lead times and material readiness.
Work with the Sales team to customise proposals according to customer requirements.
Align product selections with design and architectural requirements.
Prepare detailed proposals containing specifications, pricing and timelines.
Maintain records of purchase orders, invoices, approvals and inspection reports.
Identify risks such as stock shortages, delays and specification mismatches at an early stage.
Recommend suitable alternative products when required.
Use ERP systems such as SAP B1 to manage pre-order data and reporting.
Ensure accuracy of product details, product codes and pricing.
Coordinate with all departments involved in the pre-order process
Required Skills & Knowledge:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in a commercial, customer service, sales support or similar role.
Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP B1.
Lighting industry/product knowledge is an added advantage.
Willingness to learn lighting technology such as LED specifications, colour temperature and dimming protocols.
