Senior Manager – PRODUCTION
Location: Thandalam, Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu
Reports To: Director – Operations
CTC: ₹22–28 LPA, depending on experience, capability and interview performance
Transport: Candidate should have own transportation
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Production Leader to manage end-to-end manufacturing operations and ensure safe, efficient, high-quality and timely production of Oil & Gas equipment. The role will be responsible for production planning, shop-floor operations, manpower and machine utilization, capacity planning, productivity improvement, quality compliance and project delivery. Key Responsibilities
• Lead overall production and shop-floor operations.
• Plan and execute production as per project and customer schedules.
• Manage CNC/heavy machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, testing and refurbishment activities.
• Optimize manpower, machines, capacity and production resources.
• Monitor OEE, productivity, downtime, WIP and production efficiency.
• Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks and delays.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, QA/QC, SCM, Stores and Maintenance.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality plans and applicable API requirements.
• Control production costs, rework, scrap and overtime.
• Develop and strengthen the Production team and second-line leadership.
• Ensure strong shop-floor safety and operational discipline.
Education: B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
Experience: • 15–20+ years in manufacturing / production.
• Minimum 5–8 years in senior production management.
• Strong experience in Oil & Gas / Heavy Engineering / Pressure Equipment manufacturing.
• Experience in BOPs, well-control equipment, pressure-control systems, drilling equipment, pumps or similar products will be strongly preferred.
• Strong exposure to machining, fabrication, assembly and testing.
• Experience managing production teams and multiple manufacturing processes.
